Daniel Baker

Daniel is the Managing Director of the Healthcare Team at Grant Thornton and leads the Firm’s Healthcare Infrastructure portfolio.

With 17 years’ experience working across the NHS, broader Public Sector and Consulting, he has a wealth of experience in delivering major change programmes for the benefit of clients, patients and the public-purse. For the past 6 years, Daniel has been working extensively across the Governments New Hospital Programme (NHP) – working on both the client side and as part of the central NHP team. Through this work he has led the development of scheme design and multi-billion pound hospital redevelopment cases which look to blend local and system requirements, with standardised design and approaches.

Prior to his time spent across healthcare infrastructure schemes, Daniel has led a multitude of transformation and change initiatives within the NHS – putting patient care at the heart of change and working to deliver lasting transformation that drives efficiency and changes lives.
