MD, PhD, FFR RCSI, FRCR(UK), FRCPS (Canada), Consultant Radiation Oncologist in St Lukes Radiation Oncolgy Network, Dublin
I was born and raised in medical family in western part of Ukraine. Following medical doctor graduation, specialist training and completing highest academic
degree, PhD, I have moved to Ireland to build up and improve my linguistic and medical experience. But felt in love with emerald Ireland natural beauty welcoming people and medical career prospects. Fast forward through years of working and training in Irish Healthcare, from Kerry to Louth, Tipperary to Galway, Waterford to Dublin, and completing Specialist training in Ireland, UK and Canada- settled in Dublin, St Lukes Radiation Oncology Network as Doctor. Raising family of 2 children along with mu wife, who is also Ukrainian Fertlity Doctor. Always keen to help and learn, that’s perhaps I become a Doctor in such high demand speciality (helping cancer patient is the most rewarding experience with never ending need to learn new skills).
That’s why, when War in Ukraine unexpectedly started, with high numbers of innocent victims who require emergency medical aid and colossal lack of basic emergency medical supplies- I felt that, me and my fellow Ukrainian colleagues in Ireland can organise right help from overwhelmingly generous and supportive Irish People to Ukrainian civilians strikes by war exactly what needed in terms of emergency medical supplies to specific hospitals, right stuff to right people/places in right time. So to speak, manage most uptodate needs.
