Dental Surgeon

Siobhan completed her undergraduate studies TCD in 1999, she worked as an associate in private practice for several years before opening her own general private practice in 2005 in Tipperary town. She completed a Diploma in conscious Sedation in 2010(TCD) and completed a 3-year Doctorate in Special Care Dentistry 2015(TCD).She has held the post of senior dental surgeon-special needs since 2007 and held a part-time clinical post in special care department DDH in 2016. Siobhan set up a successful conscious sedation service in the HSE midwest catering for adults and children with disabilities, which also includes training for dental nurses. Siobhan is part of the team that have provided intranasal sedation training both nationally and internationally. Of special interest also has been her award-winning research presented nationally and internationally-How can we impact on the oral health status of 0-6 year-old children with disabilities in Ireland.
