Dr Richard Lee Kin is a specialist Periodontist. He is founder of the Mint Clinic in Adelaide Rd., Dublin 2 dealing exclusively with the management and treatment of gum disease in adults and children . Due to an ageing demographic and an increase in the prevalence of diabetes , it is likely to be the number one cause of tooth loss in Ireland in the future.
Dr Lee Kin is a graduate of the Dublin Dental Hospital and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed his specialist training in Periodontology & Implant Dentistry at the Dublin Dental School & Hospital (TCD) in 2010 and is a diplomate of the European Federation of Periodontology. Honorary secretary of the metropolitan branch of the Irish Dental Association (IDA) and Media Officer & Webmaster for the Irish Society of Periodontology.External assessor for Specialist Training in Dentistry (ICSTD) for the speciality of periodontology in 2016.
He lectures for the IDA & the IDHA nationally and has written a number of articles in dental journals. A dental advisor to rare disease groups .Oral health is his passion and has spoken on national radio about the future decline in the dental health of Irish patients.
