As a doctor uniquely qualified in two front line specialities Dr Shortt knows something about healthcare. Full Health is a digital innovation born from her frustration of treating people in the A&E when it was too late. This frustration prompted her move to train as a General Practitioner and thereby understand the challenges of tackling the root causes of preventable illnesses.
Testament to the success of Dr Shortt’s vision is that now over 100 organisations use Full Health to deliver better healthcare using it’s medical intelligence technology. This ranges from healthcare providers such as primary care centres and private hospitals to multi nationals such as Honda in the UK, HP Enterprise and Abbvie.
Key to the companies success has been it’s ability to drastically reduce healthcare costs with efficient processes while putting peoples health in their hands. Dr Shortt will present a summary of the largest study of the Irish working population using Full Health data and as presented at the International Society for Quality in Healthcare annual conference in Doha recently.
Dr Shortt is a fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine London and is also member of the Royal College of General Practice UK.
