Colm spends a lot of time questioning how technologies, especially the management of health-related information, will shape the healthcare delivery systems of the future. He currently works as Medical Director for MSD Ireland where he is involved in medical and regulatory affairs, clinical trials, scientific communications, health technology assessments etc.
He graduated from Trinity College Dublin medical school in 1996 and spent most of his clinical medicine career working in various Emergency Departments, before completing an MBA at Smurfit Business School in 2003. He then joined the pharmaceutical industry working in a variety of European clinical research and medical affairs roles. He is also a mentor on the Health XL, a global community of digital health innovators.
