Anna is the Health and Wellness Manager for Laya Healthcare, the second largest provider of health insurance in Ireland with over half a million members.
Anna’s focus is in providing evidence based Health & Wellness solutions with measurable outcomes, tailored to client objectives, to increase employees’ engagement in their wellbeing. This engagement will improve employees health status, helping them to achieve their career aspirations and increase both top line and bottom line growth for the employers – and overall strive towards a healthier, happier and more economically productive organisation.
Anna brings a great understanding of the health industry having served on the Hospital Executive Team of the Mater Private Cork where, as Patient Services Manager, she was responsible for designing and leading service excellence across all departments. Previous to this she has 14 years extensive experience in the medical and diagnostic industry, working to improve patient outcomes. Anna has also led academic, medico- legal, and organisational development consultancy projects with University College Cork.
Anna has an honours degree in Biochemistry, MSc in Food Science and Technology and was awarded a first class honours MA in Organisational Learning and Development from University College Cork. She is an advocate of life-long learning.
