David Neville – CEO Future Health Summit & Investnet

At Investnet we welcome the new Government “Recovery and Resilience Roadmap” published yesterday September 15th.  This means we can REOPEN our business, which has been devastated since March, and start planning our calendar for rest of 2020 and 2021.

We can plan dates for our traditional events like GP Liaison Meet ups, Nursing Conferences, some of our non-health events like the “Finance Leadership Summit” and ultimately the Future Health Summit in April 2021.  We can also plan bespoke events for our customers across health and other industries who are looking to get back out there engaging with their stakeholders in a controlled safe environment.  This industry is built on networking, making connections and holding face to face meetings, we can provide this for all customers in safe venues and organise your speakers and audiences for you.

As present Ireland is at Level 2 on the Roadmap, which means at Investnet we can:

  • Host Live Conferences & Events up to 100 attendees as we use large venues for these events and can ensure 2 metre distancing
  • For large purpose built event facilities, like the RDS Concert Hall, there are different conditions for larger events.  Given the size of the RDS Concert Hall we can comfortably host 300 attendees at the Future Health Summit.
  • We also welcome the Government’s plan to sign up to the new Traffic Light EU Travel Plan (based on 14 days Incidences of cases) which will commence in mid-October. This will mean overseas delegates from the UK, Germany, Scandinavia and more can now come to Dublin without quarantine if the plan was released today. As cases fall across the globe we hope to be welcoming back countries like the USA to Ireland long before April.

Therefore we are back in business and we will be looking for your support !

Ireland’s largest Health event, the Future Health Summit, will take place in the RDS on April 27th-28th 2021.

The Summit will be one of the first large live Health Conferences in Europe, so it takes on even more significance as we emerge from the Covid-19 Pandemic which has greatly impacted the Health industry globally. After numerous event cancellations, the Health sector urgently needs a platform where it can be celebrated, showcase its innovations and share best practice with current and future international healthcare leaders and decision makers, that is what the Future Health Summit is all about. While virtual events are useful, they are missing the immediacy, hands-on experience and human connections that make events like Future Health Summit so unique, and cannot replace the valuable networking and industry camaraderie that the Summit is famous for.

We will be working with the RDS venue and within the government guidelines, to ensure safe social distancing, crowd control and public hygiene whilst guaranteeing an enthralling experience and Conference for all delegates, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors.

Almost of our speakers have reconfirmed for April and where they can’t make it they will be facilitated via video link. We do however expect commercial speaking opportunities will arise – contact robbie@invetsnet.ie for further details

To celebrate our reopening, we will hold an “Exhibitors Comeback Special Sale” – we really could do with the support of the industry to kickstart our 2020, so please think about the value of this small investment at a time when marketing conference spend has been minimal.  The Sale details are below.

Future Health Summit, Dublin 2021, business as usual… we look forward to seeing you in April, in the flesh, in Dublin.
