Alan works with KPMG’s Global Healthcare Group across many geographies on healthcare policy and transactions. He has worked in the Healthcare Advisory sector for 20 years starting out in Investment Banking on major cross-border deals for Global Life Science companies. In total he has worked on over 30 M&A healthcare deals. On recent consulting projects he advised senior government officials on healthcare policy across many geographies. For example over the last 12 months he has worked in six countries supporting healthcare strategy decisions.
Alan has dedicated his professional life to healthcare working with organisations at regional, national and global level. He believes in clinically-led reform which he complements with his strong international network of leading clinicians and healthcare specialists.
In addition to his professional activities he spent four years on the National Children’s Hospital Board in a non-executive role. The opportunity to work closely with patient-facing colleagues on voluntary projects such as Rare Disease Clinics and Research programmes has been humbling but has informed his sector awareness. More recently he has started to support Enactus with planning and advice. Enactus is a leadership development organisation for students operating through the medium of social enterprise.”
